In addition, this will allow, in the future, collaboration with experimentalists to assist in the interpretation of results through computer simulation of the solid or compound under study. P-C3N4 is a material that has been theoretically proposed for more than 10 years and it still exists. the controversy of whether or not it has been synthesized. In this work, through total energy calculations, the lattice parameters, the volume module and its derivative were determined, resulting in very similar results to previous calculations under the density functional scheme and to available experimental data. The cohesion energy is underestimated while the band gap and the band width are overestimated. This is an intrinsic problem of the Hartree-Fock method, since it does not include electronic correlation. To locate the results, the well-known crystalline compounds P-Si3N 4 and diamond were analyzed, since P-C3N 4 was proposed based on the structure of the former but with a hardness similar to that of the latter. The results obtained confirm that the hardness of P-C3N4 and diamond are very similar. P-Be3N2 is a relatively easy material to obtain, our calculations confirm that it is stable and well characterized in terms of lattice parameters.
